How To Have The PERFECT #Galpal weekend

Let's face it - life can get pretty hectic and before we realize it we are just moving through the motions without enjoying the most important things around us. That is why it is so important to sometimes check yourself and make sure YOU are the priority in your life! This means that you have to have balance between the things that you simply want and desperately need.

One of the ways to find balance: Surround yourself with people that you admire and trust. I can honestly say that I am super lucky to have a solid group of gal pals that I not only admire, but trust whole-heartedly that they want whats best for me. I am one lucky gal in this department and do not take it for granted (I have had my fair share of bad apples in the past). That is why when a #GalPals weekend comes knocking, I don't say no....especially one of this caliber...

I spent the weekend at the Orlando Hotel in the heart of Los Angeles for an all girls slumber party staycation in honor of my Boss Babe friend, Kinya. We had an incredible time and it was sooooo what this girl needed. When we first arrived for the weekend they had every detail laid out to perfection. Seriously, it was so cute. We stayed in the entertainers suite that was perfect for a cute boutique hotel like The Orlando. It had the best balcony that overlooked 3rd street and plenty of room for all us girls to just chill out and relax. We had dinner at the BEST Mediterranean restaurant I think I have ever had, Cleo - located just off of the lobby of the hotel. The food is served family style with handcrafted cocktails that are to die for! After we finished dinner, we got snuggled up in our pajamas from Bed Head Pajamas and watched the Oscar nominated movie - I Tonya (so good!). The next morning we woke up and worked off all the calories we took in the night before (mine mostly from the naan bread and drinks) at Bar Method Los Angeles. This was my first time taking the class and I gotta say...it kicked my butt!! It was okay tough because after we were treated to mimosas and breakfast before we headed out and back to reality...
